Feisty is an unusual 3 year old Rat/Jack Russell Terrier mix weighing 18 pounds. What makes Feisty unusual is that he is calm, laid back and wants only to be a lap dog. He was thrown out of a car at a truck stop and we can't understand why. He is well socialized with people, fine with cats and crate trained. He is house trained and will sit by the door when he needs to go out. The only thing he loves almost as much as lap sitting is when it's time to go for good leisurely walks. This is a wonderful, wonderful boy and will make a great companion for someone. Feisty's adoption fee is $375.

We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
