Farina

This year we accepted Farina who was surrendered to a county shelter very pregnant. Two days later she gave birth to 8 puppies with no place to go so we were happy to give her and her newborn babies a safe place to go. Farina is 1 year old with the most adorable underbite and weighs ~42 pounds. I'm a well-behaved, sweet girl who loves people. I had a bunch of puppies when I came to the shelter, and thank goodness, most of them are adopted already, because they were wearing me out! I'm not so fond of cats or other dogs, so I would be best as any only pet. I love my stuffed toys so much I will sometimes just carry them around in my mouth for fun. I also like to lay right at your feet just to be near you. Because of my underbite, my tongue just hangs out when I sleep which I am told is quite adorable. I would be so happy to have a home and my very own family, and I promise I will always be a good dog! We're open Wednesday - Sunday 12 - 5 p.m but are doing meet & greets and adoptions by appointment only. The adoption fee is $135 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.
