Fanny

CURRENTLY FOSTERED IN CORVALLIS, OR—looking for a new foster or adopter Fanny was reported to us as living on the street in Mexico. Fanny is one of the calmest, sweetest dogs we have ever met. She does have her moments of playfulness with the other dogs and gets along with all of them. She has so much love to give and literally is the perfect size for any home! We’d love to see this sweet pup start her life with a loving family. Fanny is dog and cat friendly and walks well on leash. She is also house broken. She available for adoption and can also be moved to a new foster home, as the current on is shorter term since she flew to PDX in July. We use Petfinder to reach a greater audience for our dogs and adopt the majority of our dogs to the US and Canada. The first step is to submit an application on our website here: https://www.adogsnewlife.org/adopt Once we receive your application, we will review it and may contact you for more information or to conduct a home check. Before requesting adoption fees or the signing of the adoption contract we give adopters a few days to a week to spend time with their new pup. If for some reason things were not to work out we kindly ask that the adopters foster the dog until we find a suitable home for them. A few notes about our pups: - Most of our shelter dogs are accustomed to being outside and free-roaming unless otherwise stated. Some may have been in homes before and could be potty trained but in a new environment they would need easy access to the outside and be re-acclimated to their designated potty area. We cannot guarantee a pup is potty trained unless they are with a foster or surrendered to us with noted training. - We can send more videos/pictures of our dogs. Unfortunately we cannot do live videos at our shelter. - Our dogs are given de-wormer, tested negative for heartworm, (unless otherwise noted) are up to date on required vaccines for travel, and receive regular flea and tick treatment. They have also been evaluated by our vet who has provided any necessary medical care upon rescue. -Last but not least we LOVE our dogs and we hope you do too. They have hearts of gold and so much love to give. Please be kind and patient with them; they are worth it! It takes time to adjust to new people and new places. We are on IG and FB.
