If you are looking for a rewarding rescue experience, come and meet Fabuloso! Imagine being lost in this heat, you can't find a drink of water, and you are deaf and unable to hear what is going on around you. Fabuloso was found exhausted, and overheated, sleeping on someone's porch. But we believe his best life is ahead of him. We are currently working with him on training basic commands with hand signs. https://www.acorn-project.org/ He is doing very well. (See video) He learned very quickly that sit means treats, and he can't sit fast enough. He is a high energy guy who enjoys playing with other high energy dogs. He is still working on the return part of fetch, and loves being chased around the play yards when he has a ball or tug toy. He loves belly rubs and foot rubs and is quite the ladies' man when he visits with the Critter Campers. We are hoping his special person will find him soon. We will send you home with a copy of the signs we have been using so that you can communicate with your new pet right away.
