She was surrendered to us with another female dog and does seem to enjoy the company of another dog but is not reliant on it. She is happy to chill at home next to you for a snooze, or go for long walks, or both. When at home, she may paw at you for affection and present her belly for rubs but this will take time so be patient as the pay off is worth it ! She may need your help with reactivity to noise and other dogs/people (although this makes her great at security) and potty training. But like most dogs, is capable of learning with a well preserved and consistent routine. Everleigh is not a bolter if you open the door and she does not bark when left alone (except for noises as and when they occur). She does not destroy furniture or chew, but she would like to sit on the furniture with you when at home. She seems to favor the crate and understands that is where she sleeps.
