Everest

Everest is a striking 2 year old German Shepherd whose owner surrendered him when he could no longer care for him. This young boy is looking for a calm home that would allow him to develop at his own pace. Everest can be anxious in new situations, so it is best if he can set the pace when meeting new people. He will quickly roll over for belly rubs but can get over stimulated. He would need a calm and patient owner that will work with his anxiety. Everest loves to play with tennis balls; and if there is a puddle or a pool nearby, he enjoys a quick dip. His owner said that Everest would run next to him as the owner rode his bike, so he is an active boy! Everest would make a wonderful addition to a family that would be patient as he adapts to his new surroundings. The shelter has an appointment only policy.
