Hi there! I'm Eve! Are you looking for a playful, loving, and smart pup to join your family? Look no further, because here I am! I'm a beautiful brindle German Shepherd/Pit/Malinois mix, born on September 7, 2023, making me about 10 months old. I weigh around 41.6 pounds and have a heart full of love and energy. I'm spayed, vaccinated, and on monthly heartworm prevention. I'm crate-trained and working hard on house and potty trainingI almost have it down! I do well on a leash, especially with a prong collar, but I'm still learning and need a bit more work. I'm great with children and absolutely love playing with them, although I do tend to jump on people as my default greeting, which might knock over smaller kids. But with consistency, I'm sure to improve. I love playing with other dogs and currently live with a 12-pound dog. I haven't had much exposure to cats, so I'm not sure how I'd react to them. I'm not very interested in our hedgehog and prefer staying with people over joining the other dogs in chasing birds. I love to play outside, especially with balls, squeaky toys, and playing tug of war with my foster sibling. I also enjoy cuddling on the couch with the kids and being picked up by them. I'm very smart and already know the Sit and Down commands. I've been on long car rides, including a trip to Gatlinburg, and did a great job! I do have a few things I'm working on, like potty training and learning not to chew on furniture, but I'm doing great! I have a tendency to jump on people, but I correct easily with some guidance. I also love to steal things and will quickly chew them up if I'm not caught in time. Feet on the kitchen table is a common occurrence for me. As a watch dog, I do alert to sounds, but I'm learning which ones are normal and don't need my attention. I'm very loving and have an amazing personality. I'm obedient, energetic, and have great agility. I'm often described as a Velcro dog because I love being close to my special person. I'd make a great sports dog, but I don't necessarily need that outlet to thrive. I'm bright, quick to learn, and treat-selective, which means I respond well to specific treats.
