Meet Eugene, your soon-to-be best friend! This boy had a rough start being thrown out of a moving vehicle and then shot at before landing in a high kill shelter. We pulled him out just 30 minutes before his euthanasia appointment, saving his life.
Eugene is an incredibly loyal and friendly dog, who loves nothing more than showing affection and giving kisses. Athletic and playful, Eugene is always up for an adventure, whether that be chasing after a ball or going on walks. He is smart and curious, and will easily learn how to be the perfect companion for you.
Eugene has started obedience training to teach him how to control that energy and that he gets pets and cuddles when he is a calm boy. Someone interested in and willing to continue his training at home is best.
Born with a big heart, Eugene is sure to fill your life with love and laughter. Please note that Eugene is selective with other dogs, and would prefer to be the only fur baby in your household. He is very friendly and very strong and may knock over small children so he would be best with older children or an adult only home.
