Esme came to us after being passed through several homes in a short time, after being brought up as a "stray" from Florida and left with a family member by those who transported her. She gets the classic Chihuahua shakes, but warms up quickly to all the humans she meets and wants to live in their lap. She's highly energetic, and will need lots of activity in her life - she will zoomie all over if allowed and needs to be on leash outside. She will need work on basic obedience. She has occasional accidents in her kennel but typically right by the gate and otherwise takes potty breaks on her walks - we believe she will be easily house-trained. She seems fine with cats, but not so in love with larger dogs at first meet, thought seems to improve with repeated introductions. Untested with dogs her size, as we have no others. Available for applications and to meet now, adoption pending spay. Roughly 1yr old.
