Eric is a one-year-old healer mix. He is fully vetted and ready for his forever home. Eric was found as a stray and was extremely underweight and very shut down. It has taken us a couple months to get him warmed up and he is thriving! He loves attention and lots of pets! Eric likes to play with other dogs. He has quite the nose on him and is content to play fetch & finds the ball before his foster siblings. Eric does well in a 4’ fence. He is working on a leash but still is unsure of it and gets a bit scared. He is crate trained and potty trained. Eric would do best in a family with either an alpha dog, who can show him how to act in a safe home or with a playful sibling. He loves kids, but due to his uncertainty is not sure about boundaries around smaller children. Eric will need a patient family that understands his insecurities and is willing to provide extra reassurance that he is safe and loved.
