My Story

Emmett is a tri-colored male basset from the shelter in Newton County. Emmett is a beautiful fellow with a large head, big feet, and tons of freckles. He's up-to-date on shots, neutered, and ready to be adopted. Emmett gets along fine with other dogs and loves to play with hs foster brothers. If you sit down, he will get in your lap and be a lap dog. Emmett's only issue is that he is a bit food aggressive, so it's best to feed him away from other dogs and keep people food away from him. He's a young fellow with enough puppy in him to be playful and fun, but he's adult enough that he no longer has the annoying puppy traits like chewing.
