Meet Freya, the charming Great Dane mix with a heart as big as her paws! This 7-8 month-old pup weighs around 60 lbs and has a bit more growing to do. Freya's striking appearance—mostly black with a dark brindle around her neck and a white chest—makes her stand out, but it's her sweet personality that truly shines. She's incredibly cuddly and loves nothing more than sleeping head-to-head with her favorite humans, giving lots of kisses to everyone she meets. Freya enjoys a good game of tug, especially with other dogs, and she gets along wonderfully with both small and large canine friends. She's crate-trained and behaves well when left alone, making her an easy fit for any household. Despite a challenging start with multiple surgeries to correct deformed knees, Freya's resilience and joyful spirit are truly inspiring. She's not very food-motivated, except for freeze-dried beef liver treats, which she'll do anything for! Though she doesn't know many tricks yet, Freya is eager to learn and would thrive with a family willing to teach her. She's good on a leash and she tends to only bark a greeting at dogs on TV. Freya's gentle nature makes her great with kids and equally loving and friendly with all humans. This happy, invincible pup has a zest for life that's contagious. Freya is ready to bring joy, love, and a lot of cuddles to her forever home!
