PLEASE READ FULLY BEFORE INQUIRING – WE RESPOND FIRST TO THOSE WHO PUT IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION **EMMA IS BEING FOSTERED IN TEXAS (BUT CAN MAKE HER WAY TO IOWA ON ONE OF OUR UPCOMING TRANSPORTS) Emma was found as a stray incredibly pregnant; she ended up giving birth to 7 pups at her fosters home. She is estimated to be a 3-year-old Shepherd/staffie mix. Thanks to an amazing foster, Emma was able to raise her pups inside of a home, but now she is ready for her own home! Emma is great with other dogs. She has a calm energy about her that is so easy to fall in love with. She loves to give hugs and roll over for a belly rub. This poor lady has been through so much at such a young age, she is so deserving of a forever home! She does well with other dogs and children, cats are unknown. Emma is heartworm positive, which unfortunately is common in Texas dogs that have not received preventative medicine. The good news is, she has completed treatment with the rescue.
