EMMA

Emma is a 3 year old, female Pit Mix that ended up in a shelter when her owner passed away. Emma weighs about 50 lbs and is short in stature. Emma is super affectionate and wants to be so close to everyone. She loves to lay with her foster mom so much that she climbs up with her every time she sits down. She loves to lay and snuggle on the couch with her people and would do best in a home where she can be with you! She has lived with kids, is good with other dogs (with a proper meet & introduction) and is living with a cat currently as well. Emma is interested in the cat but easily called away. She is crate and house trained. She does need work on her leash manners and jumping to greet people. She pulls a lot to get to who/what she wants when on leash and she jumps to greet everyone. Emma is spayed, up to date with vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. With a little effort, Emma can be the greatest dog for her new family! Applicants must live within 60 min of Hamilton, NJ to be considered. A vet check will be conducted for each application and a solid vet history for current and past pets will be verified. All current animals in the home must be up to date on vaccinations and preventatives prior to the vet check.
