Introducing Emma! Currently residing in Costa Rica, this mixed breed beauty is approximately 4 months old and 15 lbs, estimating her date of birth as March 10, 2024. In poor condition, Emma was removed from a neglectful situation and placed in a foster home where she has bounced back beautifully with vet care, good meds, nutritious food and lots of love and TLC from her wonderful foster Mom. Emma is now happy, healthy and ready to jet set to the states, arriving on July 24, to start a new life. Her wish is to have a family waiting for her. Emma’s foster Mom says that she is a spirited pup and fast learner. She is already starting to master potty training and knows how to sit for food and treats. She will likely be a retriever as she naturally goes after her little balls. When she isn't running around, she likes to sit in my lap and be stroked to sleep. She's quite a snuggler and social and friendly with people. Like most dogs in Costa Rica, she's an unidentifiable mix of breeds, but likely her markings and body type suggest that she has some Pointer in her. Emma LOVES other dogs (I have two). She particularly loves my senior poodle, Pip, although he just barely tolerates her. Emma will bear discomfort in a sleeping position just to be close to him. She tries to engage with my cat in play, which he doesn't like, but at night they will settle in next to each other quite peacefully. Emma is quite the character, energetic and rascally at times, a typical pup at her age. She will make a fabulous companion for an active family.
