Emily went on her first couple Doggy Day Outs with Volunteers recently and has a blast each time. She has gone for pup-cups, walks and had some time to relax. She was described as sweet, curious, loving, energetic and laid back at times. She also does great on car rides! Here is what our Volunteers have to say about Emily: "We had the pleasure of taking Emily out for the day yesterday! She was amazing and I miss her already. She was the sweetest and most affectionate dog. We went exploring through the marsh, along trails, had a picnic, played with lots of toys and even got to take a nap on the couch:) Emily did great in the car and was the best walker on her leash! Emily encountered all sorts of people and animals along her adventures and couldn't have been more friendly. Emily is the perfect furry friend. We enjoyed every second (hence why we kept her the whole time:))" "Emily did super on her Doggy Day Out! She loved being out exploring while going on a walk. Emily was very friendly towards humans and greeted each one with a smile and tail wag. She loves her car rides where she will just lay down or want to put her nose out the car window and smell the fresh air! She was truly great to have out and I most definitely would have her out again :)" "Emily is super photogenic!!! She loves water on a hot, active day. She seems to love exploring smells and enjoys walking, although it seems she prefers quiet, calm settings. She is okay to see dogs at a distance and can continue walking the other way without getting too fixated. Her person just needs to be paying attention to her! She also might have an urge to chase cars, so less busy roads/sidewalks are ideal for her. She is such a great car rider!! And a very sweet girl! It was a pleasure to hang out with her." "Emily does great on Doggy Day Outs. I'd like to see her go on more outings. She LOVES being outdoors either lounging in the shade or exploring on our walks. She's not real bad with dog reactivity and I've worked with her a little bit on that today. Emily is very sweet and friendly! I love this little gal!
