MEET ELVIS Elvis is a 15-month-old neutered male Australian Shepherd. His early life is a bit of a mystery. He was born and then quickly relinquished to a rescue at just 4 months old. Through no fault of his own, Elvis has since been bounced between a few different foster homes. Despite his uncertain past, Elvis is potty trained and on the petite side, weighing in at 30 pounds. He walks well on a leash, although he can get excited when he encounters new dogs, people, or small critters. Elvis is very shy and tends to do better with women. Currently in his adolescent phase, Elvis loves to chew, so his fosters crate him when they're not home. This crate also serves as his safe space. He needs time to unwind in new environments and is currently on medication to help him with this transition. Elvis plays well with other dogs and would thrive in a home with another young dog to keep him company. He needs someone who has the time to dedicate to training him.
