Elsa estimated to be 15 yrs old, she was found as a stray in the Tampa Bay area and had clearly suffered from neglect for a long period of time. She was completely forlorn and had no spirit left. She was also suffering from an inability to produce tears and her eyes were so crusted over she had become accustomed to sleeping with her eyes open because she couldn't shut her eyelids. (this photo in comments) These days Elsa is a happy dog! She runs around the house and yard, wags her tail and her NEW favorite thing is getting KISSES on the cheek from her foster mom!

*Please note that Elsa is considered to be Hospice, due to her age and the severity of her eyes we have since had her enucleated (removal of both eyes) to help her remain comfortable. We hope remaining in her foster home she will stay with routine and comfortable.
