My Story

Hi. I’m Elsa, a 3 year old Great Pyrenees dog. I am looking for a child-free home. I currently live in a home with other dogs and I am ok with them however I am not a fan of strange dogs approaching me, so I would need slow, proper introduction if I was going to live with dogs. I take treats very nicely. But if there’s toys or bones around I consider them MINE and I will guard them (and I really don’t even like humans to try to steal them from me). I also can become territorial of what I consider “my space” (laying area) when approached by other dogs and occasionally people, and I am sometimes unpredictable. I enjoy playing with my large rope toys outside and large softball-like balls. I spend a lot of time outside and need a fenced in yard with plenty of room to run. I am ok on a leash but I may pull you. I am up to date on shots and was spayed in 04/24. I am 82ibs. I am not “crate trained” but am used to being blocked off to a section of the kitchen by a small trifold pet gate. Now if you have Great Pyrenees experience maybe some of these characteristics are not surprising! I need an experienced “dog human” to work with me and to help me work through some of my “issues”. Are you that person? Apply to adopt me at https://pawsitiveheartspa.org/adoption-application-dogs/
