Elroy - **SPONSORED ADOPTION**

Hi there! My name is Elroy and I weigh about 35 lbs at around 3.5 years old. Crate trained, house trained (though may need time getting used to a new schedule), and a cuddle bug with my people! You must keep in contact with our trainer to make sure he keeps on the positive path. I was surrendered to the rescue and placed in care of Smarty Paws Canine Care LLC (our training partner located in Fredericksburg VA) after my owner reached out looking to rehome. I was with my sister and littermate syndrome set in. We ended up fighting a lot. I am good with other dogs though! I get protective over my home and am still slightly leash/people reactive. They have helped me become a MORE confident little man. I am doing SO much better all around! That being said, I have a bite history (marking as no kids under 12 and men can be scary) because of my insecure and nervous little self. I'll get there with time and proper structure, combined into my training and I am shining as bright as my future! Please put in an application to meet me!! We are a small based foster group who help dogs currently in VA, NC (more states soon) on death row find a second chance. Right now we will be running off of donations and fosters homes. So please be patient with us. You may apply to adopt if you are in a state that surrounds VA state lines! Adoption Contracts, and vet papers will be given at time of adoption. All dogs will be UTD on shots and spayed/neutered before going to their furever family! All adoption fees are considered donations! We do not do refunds on donations.
