Elmer

Meet Elmer Elmer is a very handsome American Bulldog / Boxer mix who is 3 years old and weighs 35 pounds. He was rescued from a high-kill shelter in South Texas near the border of Mexico. Elmer is a very active guy who loves to play with his toys. He really enjoys chasing his ball and puzzle/chew toys are also favorites for him. He would make a great walking or running buddy and would also do very well with agility training. As much as he enjoys being on the go, he can also be a couch potato when it’s time to rest and recharge. He can be very determined at times, so does need to go to a home with an experienced handler who can work with him consistently. He can also be a bit picky with his dog friends, so would do best in a home where he is the only canine companion. Elmer is a pretty special guy and we know that his special person is out there waiting for him!
