Ellie Mae is under a year old and a medium weight. She is a happy girl who loves human attention and loves to run in the yard and play tug-a-war with the other dogs. She has been good around all the dogs she has met. Ellie Mae learns quickly from her foster humans and other dogs alike. She is crate trained and does great on car rides. Ellie Mae is close to being house trained. She has been fabulous with visitors including older kids. Adoptions of large dogs over 20 lbs. must have a fully fenced-in yard, so they can have ample play off-leash, safely. For adopters, all pets within the home must be current on heartworm prevention, vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and on flea prevention, as our humane society has put forth all vetting to ensure our adoptable is safe and healthy for your family. In one heartworm-positive pet's kennel, 7 of 10 mosquitoes will be heartworm positive, thus it is important to ensure pets' safety.
