About Me
Characteristics
Dog Friendly, Cat friendly, Child friendly, Is house trained
Ellie is a very sweet girl who had a bit of a rough start. She and her siblings were dumped in rural Missouri, so she is a bit nervous. She will need some patience, but she is quickly learning that snuggles are a good thing. She loves other dogs and loves to play and run, so she would enjoy having a confident four-legged sibling to show her the ropes. She is a year old and weighs about 23 lbs. Because of her lack of confidence, a fenced yard is required.
Our adoption process is usually quick, but may take up to two weeks. When you find an animal you are interested in, we ask that you fill out an application as a first step so we can determine if your family is a good fit for the animal. If you are, then we will contact you to arrange a time for you and your family to meet the animal so you can decide if it is a good fit. If you currently have dogs, we require that the dogs be present at the meeting to make sure it's a good fit all around. Once compatibility is determined, we move on to the paperwork and finalize the adoption.
If the meet is not a good fit, we will keep your application on file for 6 months and we will gladly consider your family for another dog.
