My Story

Ellie is a sweet beauty. She has been socializing with two resident adult dogs and two young age dogs and 3 indoor cats. She likes to play chase, bitey face, chew on sticks, explore, play with stuffy toys, and give kisses. She has been known to pause play for some snuggling! She does well with her crate training but still learning commands. She is learning boundaries with the resident dogs and cats, potty training, getting used to wearing a harness, and much more. She is learning basic training and is motivated by treats, which will help as she continues her training. Ellie likes to play outside and inside; wherever her person is. While she is crated she uses her bark to communicate she has to potty or when her brother goes outside without her. She sometimes uses her bark during playtime too, but she doesn’t bark at objects, noises, or people. She is fearless, full of energy, spunky, and a bit mischievous. When she is one on one with her person she is calm and gentle. Her striking features and sweet, playful personality make her hard to resist. The ideal home for Ellie is where she can socialize with her family, continue her training, and have a new sibling to run around and play with in the yard. *Please note that NCBR does not accept applications for dogs that are on hold.
