Hello there! My name is Elle, and I'm a Shar-Pei, a breed you don't often see in shelters. My dark grey fur and charming wrinkles make me stand out, and at around 30 pounds, I'm the perfect medium sized dog for cuddling! One of the most important things to know about me is that my adorable skin folds need to be kept clean and dry to keep me healthy. I'm still learning to walk on a leash, so I could use a bit of patience and practice. I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with time, patience, and maybe some yummy treats, you'll gain my trust and see my affectionate side. I've recently traveled to South Florida in search of a loving home, and I can't wait to find a family to call my own. I also enjoy playing with my toys and have previously lived with other dogs, so I'm used to having furry friends around. I would make a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a loyal and loving friend.
