Ella

Ella Fitzgerald and her litter mates were living on the side of a street as her stray mom had given birth in the neighboorhood. Someone was concerned about their safety and called to see if a vet would take them. They then contacted S.A.F.E. Animal Haven and are now in a foster home safe and thriving! The pups are now 8 weeks old. Ella was very scared around people and ran away when someone went to pick her up. She will now run to people but is still a bit submissive but is a very sweet girl. She loves playing with her other foster canine buddies and wants to play all day. She would love a forever home where she can grow, be safe and be loved. Her Mom was about 35 lbs and we think her dad was about 45 lbs so she should be a medium size dog. Ella is about 11 weeks now as of 4/18/10. Ella is a great little puppy and loves other dogs. She loves to play inside and out. She especially loves to be held by anyone. She can be timid at times but will come around quickly. She is looking for a home with a fenced in yard and maybe a friend be it canine or human to play with. She is crate trained. WE FINALIZE EVERY ADOPTION WITH A HOME VISIT THEREFORE POTENTIAL HOMES MUST BE WITHIN A HOURS DRIVE TIME OF CHARLOTTE NC. A FOSTER PET WILL NOT BE SHIPPED TO SOMEONE LIVING OUTSIDE THE ADOPTION AREA NOR WILL ANYONE BE ALLOWED TO COME PICK A PET UP FROM US. YOU MUST BE 21 TO ADOPT FROM OUR GROUP.
