Ella is a gorgeous purebred AKC registered Bernese Mtn Dog. She is active, playful, and extremely affectionate, with a great sense of humor. Does the famous "Berner lean" against your leg in great style!! Loves those belly rubs. ** Ella is housetrained, walks nicely on a leash, knows sit and down, also stay and come. Has a nicely reliable off leash recall.
** She is 2 1/2 years old, healthy and well cared for. Ella can be a little bit worried around strangers, until she gets to know them. Ella is extremely loving, playful, and outgoing with the friends and family she knows. *** She was surrendered to rescue by her former owners because their hectic household was too stressful for her to feel comfortable. ** The ideal home for Ella would be a calm, adult-only household with experienced owners who had lots of time to spend with her. ** As for all dog adoptions we require a securely fenced yard (and not the shock collar based "invisible fencing system.") ** Adoption application available at: www.northcoastbmd.org
