Introducing Elkart, a 2-year old. 12-pound Chihuahua/Terrier mix with expressive ears, beautiful eyes, and a soft sleek coat, including unique brindle eyebrows! This dude is a real looker! Sweet, attentive, and active, Elkart has lots of energy and loves catching a tennis ball in the air and playing fetch. Between his flexible body and his graceful manner, he has all the makings of a great agility dog. After Elkart’s had enough action, he is content to sit on your lap or at your feet, curled up in a ball. This handsome fella is super affectionate and loves to be pet and massaged. Belly rubs are always welcome! Elkart is fully housebroken, sleeps through the night in his crate, and enjoys taking walks. When out and about, he likes to sniff things, romp around, and try to catch flies. Elkart has solid leash manners and continues to show improvement. Smart as a whip, Elkart responds to the commands sit, drop it, and stay…and he’d do almost anything for a treat! Friendly toward humans and dogs, both young and old, Elkart is easy-going and even-tempered around everyone. He might initially bark at an unfamiliar face, but he quickly gets over it and shows zero aggression. He’s just a bit of a talker! ;-) Elkart is such a fun dog with so many fantastic qualities, he’s almost too good to be true.
