Meet Eliza, a beautiful cream-colored Labrador Retriever mix with stunning chocolate brown eyes. Her foster describes her as the epitome of sweetness, with a gentle and somewhat shy personality. Though she may be reserved when meeting new people, she quickly warms up and loves to roll over for belly rubs. Once comfortable, Eliza is cuddly and playful, though not the typical rambunctious puppy-she plays very gently. Eliza knows basic cues like sit and lay down and is mostly house-trained. She is comfortable in her crate when her foster is away and enjoys all kinds of toys, especially bones and plush ones. While she hasn't been observed with kids or other animals yet, her foster believes she would likely get along well with cats and could be a great companion for an older dog or other small dogs. Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
