Today I picked up two new intakes.
One was Elena.
It’s heartbreaking to see the shape she is in.
She was found by a Good Samaritan when Elena was dumped in the parking lot where she works.
She has had her intake and she’s 2 years old, weighs 11 pounds, heartworm negative and full of intestinal parasites, but otherwise seems to be ok. She is eating, so it should not take long for her to gain some weight.
I have discovered she detests not being able to see me.
Elena may be small but she has a voice to rival a Great Dane!
She is so very cute with her little perk-a-boo tongue!
Right now she’s napping and doing well.
I will update on her after she’s settled in.
