Hi there! I’m Eldred, but my nick name here is Little Bear. I am a very sweet, energetic boy, filled with so much love to share! I came from an overcrowded shelter in North Carolina, and boy am I happy to have met my Yankee family! I have enjoyed my time with my friends here both 2-legged and 4, but I would love to find a family of my own. I have shown everyone here how smart I am, and I would love to show and continue my training with my forever family. I’ll show you how nicely I sit if you provide the yummy treats. My FAVORITE things are car rides and hiking. I would love to find a family that would enjoy these activities with me! I have never lived in a home with another dog before, but I have made many well matched friends here! Friends that I hike with, and friends that I could play all day with outside! If you’re a furry friend that would enjoy a playful, spunky, little brother… I would be the best! I would thrive in a home with an active lifestyle, where we can explore trails, and continue to help me be the best boy I can be. Because I am young, and can be a bundle of energy, if my forever family and home had children around that it would be best if they are older or “sturdy” enough to handle my playfulness.
