"Thanks for noticin' me" - Eeyore I might share my name with a gloomy donkey, but I am anything but! Unlike the depressive Disney character, I am a loveable guy with my human companions. I like to lean in for some snuggles and give sweet little kisses. Because I appreciate entering new friendships at a slower pace, I would be best in a calm home. As with many rescue dogs that have had the unfortunate background of being abandoned, I am looking for someone to bring me home and spend some extra time to help me really get comfortable. Some of my highlighting traits are that I am crate trained, I know a few commands already, I love to swim (as long as I can touch the bottom), and I am treat motivated. This will come in handy when I go home and we start working on building a solid foundation for our friendship! My toys are one of my most favorite parts of life! I love to carry toys with me on walks, play fetch, and hangout on my doggy bed to entertain myself. I have made some canine friends here, and am open to potentially having a doggy playmate when I go home too! I would be happiest without a kitty sibling though.
