Edison

Edison is a goofy, quirky 4-5 year old male chihuahua and approximately 5 lbs of fun. Even his silly ears have big personality as one likes to lay down while the other stands up! Its one of his most endearing qualities if you ask his foster momma. He currently lives with three other foster chihuahuas and is definitely the class clown. He loves to burrow and prefers to snuggle up close, even thinking hes a parrot standing on your shoulder to give you kisses as you sit in your favorite chair. Whatever helps him get close to you is what hes willing to do! He has a special relationship with his foster sister (another 5lb chihuahua) showing hed do great with other dogs his size although he can be picky with other dogs he is around. There are times hes been a bit sassy and possessive of his foster momma which will require discipline and consistency. Hes completely harmless just a jealous guy sometimes Edison is missing a number of teeth due to his rough past but can chew kibble. Dont let him fool you though. He may try to hold out for soft food. Hes a smart little booger. Edison does not like children and prefers to just be with his person. Having come from a hoarding case of 27 other chihuahuas, hes still working on potty training. Because of this past, he loves to mark his territory (Beit toy, bed, blanket, etc.) But if hes kept on a strict regime of going outside, he improves and with patience, he will get there in time. Edison would do best with a fenced yard as hes not a fan of the leash yet and thinks that running from you is a game. For his safety, hell need someone patient enough to work with him on double leash training or theyll need a fenced yard. Edison is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
