Like so many other dogs in Texas, Eden ended up homeless on the streets of Houston. She was brought to the shelter, where dogs are euthanized every day due to over population.
After spending a little time at the shelter, it was Eden's turn to be euthanized. How sad that the sweetest girl in the world would be put to sleep, like so many other innocent pups.
Luckily, Home Run Hounds stepped in and pulled her from the shelter on the same day she was due to be euthanized.
Eden is now in the northeast in a temporary foster home and we have learned SO MUCH about this sweetheart.
Eden is GREAT with everyone she has met. She loves to be pet and "sit" on command. She wants to please her people. She also lived very briefly with a small child before she left Texas and she was great!
Eden has ENERGY! She needs to run, play or go for several walks a day because activity makes this girl so happy!
The most wonderful thing about Eden is that she LOVES DOGS! This girl thrives in a home with another dog to play with. So, having a fur sibling would be wonderful for her!
