My name is Eddy and here's my story. It's real sad, but I have a feeling it's going to get a whole lot better now that I'm at Dal Rescue! My human mom died and I was left chained up outside for 3 months. Then I ended up at the local pound. All the while Miss Brenda and Miss Meghan visited me trying to earn my trust. I had been treated very badly where I came from and ending up in a cage made me fearful and uneasy around people who I thought could hurt me. A real nice rescue group who handles chained pets had all the faith in the world that I was a good boy and just needed a chance. After Dal Rescue called for their help, I got my chance and have proving myself more and more each and every day. I am being treated for heartworms right now and will soon be ready for my forever home where I will never, ever be left outside alone again much less be chained up. I love to play, am crazy about Kongs and can't wait for breakfast and dinner! My foster home is o.k. for now, but what I really want and dream of is a home to call me own!
