update: We are happy to say that Russell has been adopted by a wonderful couple, who recently lost their beloved JR of 14 years. I am sure this is a perfect match. Thank you petfinder READ THIS REPORT ON RUSSELL FROM SOMEONE WHO JUST MET HIM. Hello, I just wanted to send a quick email about Russell! Russell is staying at my Aunt's house right now until he finds a forever home. My kids and myself had the pleasure of meeting Russell. I can not say enough good things about this dog. I just fell in love with him!!! If I was in a different situation I would take him in a heartbeat. I have my hands full with 2 young kids and a Wheaten at home. I wanted to let people know how sweet this dog is!!! We went to the park together. He walked right by my side. Did not pull once. He loved sitting on my lap! He would have sat there all day. He is just a sweetheart! I really hope people will come out to meet Russell. They will fall in love just like I did! ____________________________ We have shown Russell to a number of JR folks, They figure he is probably only 7 which not old in a JR. He really is the best dog won't you give him a shot We don't know exactly how old Russell is but he has gone prematurely grey like many of us. He acts like a young dog and all he wants is a home of his own. Won't you give this perfect dog a chance. UIPDATE FROM RUSSELL'S FOSTER MOM Hi Update on Russell. He is a very loving dog. Will follow me from room to room. Have conquered the crying in the crate at night. I brought the crate in my bedroom and he is happy. I have taken him in the car, he stays in his crate and you don't hear a peep from him. I have taken him on walks and you think he had obedience lessons, Just walks by your side, very polite. Follows Zoey, is even learning how to play. You can see him outside strutting around and really seems to be happy to be alive. He really isn't hyper like you think of Jack Russells RUSSELL IS A WONDERFUL LITTLE JR. HE IS GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS, BUT NO SMALL ANIMALS, HE HAS A HIGH PREY DRIVE AS JACK RUSSELLS SHOULD. THIS GUY IS A WONDERFUL DOG WHO IS VERY LAID BACK AND WOULD DO GREAT IN A HOME WITH A RETIRED COUPLE OR A SINGLE PERSON WHO WANTS A BEST FRIEND UPDATE: RUSSELL HAS BEEN MOVED INTO A FOSTER HOME AND IS COMING OUT OF HIS SHELL. WE WILL NOT PUT HIM WITH SMALL ANIMALS AS HIS JR NATURE COMES OUT. JACK WAS A PUPPY MILL BREEDER DOG. HE IS VERY FRIGHTENED BUT NOT AGRESSIVE AT ALL. HE WILL BE NEUTERED THIS WEEK AND WILL BE READY TO START A REAL LIFE. HE IS LOW TO THE GROUND AND A LITTLE GREY ON HIS FACE. AS WITH ALL MILLS HE HAS HAD A TERRIBLE LIFE BEFORE BEING RESCUED.
