Hi Humans, My name is Echo and I'm a very dapper 2 year old and 80lb boy here at the GTHS waiting patiently to find my new family. Truth be told, I’m a bit of a nervous guy sometimes. I’m very friendly, despite my nervous nature, I just need you to take things slowly. I really love humans and getting pets; you’ll know I’m enjoying myself because I’ll lean right into you when you’re petting me! I'm also an active guy who loves to zoom around the dog yard here at the Animal Centre. I hope my new family will take me on lots of adventures to explore our new neighbourhood together! The GTHS humans say I tend to pull a bit on my leash, but it's only because I want to smell all the interesting smells. With a little encouragement and training, I will soon be the best walking partner you've ever had! When it comes to meeting other dogs, I'm what the GTHS humans call selective. In my case, that means I'm curious about other dogs, but not everyone is my cup of tea. Proper introductions will be important to set me up for success in any new doggy friendships. I have experience with kids so I would love to join a family with those little ones but I don't like cats! No thank you very much! So if you are looking for a handsome, sweet, loving companion to share your life with, I'm your guy! My adoption fee is $400 and includes my spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, dewormer and a microchip.
