Echo is a male border collie, estimated to be 11mo and weighs 35lbs. Echo is an affectionate, happy, eager border collie! He loves everyone he meets and is a huge fan of snuggles. He is an energetic puppy with loads of personality and has trouble holding still. He is looking for a home where he can live up to his potential as a working or sport dog. He is high drive, high energy, and needs a job! Working or dog sport home only will be considered. He has strong herding instincts that could be channeled to be a fun herding dog. He is not overly sensitive, not a “soft” dog, but is responsive and attentive. He would excel in agility or many other dog sports. He has learned to fetch, is very toy driven and food motivated, making him a lot of fun to teach new tricks to. He is crate trained, working on potty training, good with other dogs, and good with cats that don’t run away. He will chase cats that run, but doesn’t hurt them.
Echo would prefer a family with older kids, no toddlers, as he’s a little too exuberant for little ones. He will require a fenced yard or large amount of land with supervision as he has a tendency to herd everything when left to his own devices.
He’s UTD on all vaccines, flea/tick and HW prevention. He’s HW negative and neutered. Echo was found as a stray. He is being fostered in Urbanna, VA. If you would like more information about Echo you can email
