My Story

Introducing Miss Echo, a beautiful and friendly 1.5 year old Lab. She’s a trim 60 pounds and joins us as a stray who was rescued by a partner in Arkansas. Echo’s foster mom tells us she is a young lady who relishes attention and petting, and who loves walks in the mountain setting of her foster home. Echo is house trained and working on learning some basic commands. She is not fond of being crated/being confined to a small space but does well when “baby-gated” in the kitchen. Riding in the car has been a new experience; she appreciates a lift in. Echo enjoys meeting new people and is ready with a wagging tail and perhaps a kiss or two. She likes toys and, being a young Lab, she needs a good supply of approved chewables. Faves? Lots of TLC from her Peeps, petting and walks! Since Echo came to us as a stray, we don’t know what her prior experience with other dogs was, but she has let us know she needs to be the only furry canine princess in your home. Cats and critters are fair game to chase. Her foster mom adds: “Echo is very loving and a great companion who loves being petted and soaking up attention. She is young and loves exploring. She is skittish at sudden moves, so a home that is quieter with older children would be best. Lots of TLC and exercise are musts! “All in all she is a happy, loving young dog. With some patience and basic training she will be a wonderful loving and loyal companion.”
