My Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, my name is Ebbe (pronounced E-B) and I'm looking for my forever home, could it be you? Let me tell you a little bit about me I was born in February so I'm still just a little pup with pup energy. I'm a heeler mix and my foster folks think there might be some corgi in there with my attitude and little nubby tail. I'm super cute, soft and loving Things I love: Being close to my people Pets, snuggles, and belly rubs Playing with toys Exploring new areas and things Pupsicles (ice cubes & frozen fruit) "Splooting" in the shade and on cool floor Things I'm not a fan of: Being alone in the kennel Car rides Long walks/runs (love short walks though) I'm praise and attention motivated, like to play with other dogs, and while my foster family doesn't have kids, I do great with all the kids I've met including the many kids running around next door. I can sometimes be timid when meeting new people until I realize they want to give me pets too. I haven't met cats. I'm smart so I'm learning to walk on a leash, sit, and when to come in and out of doors. Car rides can stress me out so I pant/drool in the car but my foster family is working on helping me learn car rides can bring me fun things and to fun places. I do okay in the kennel in the bedroom overnight but don't love being alone in the day. Sometimes the kennel hangs out in the office with my foster mom and then I nap just fine! Being a young puppy, I still need regular bathroom breaks so I'll need someone who can let me out every few hours until I get older. I'll also need someone who is willing to "puppy proof" the space while I still learn what I can and can't call a toy . All said and done, I'd be a great companion. If that's you, please apply to adopt me!Interested in adopting this lovable animal? Please go to our website www.wagsmn.org and fill out an Adoption Application. Once the application is processed, a Wags representative will contact you, answer any questions you may have, and set up a time/location for a meet and greet!
