She is a beauty! Dutchess was a stray picked up by Animal Control and rescued by CARES when her time was up. She is about 2 years old and weighs about 50#. We believe she is a mixed breed between a Labrador and a Border Collie. Sometimes it's tough being a small rescue, the dogs get no exposure except off the internet. No one has even come to visit Dutchess or she'd be in her forever home! She's a very good girl!
She gets along with other dogs, is fine with cats, and has enjoyed every new person that she meets, including children. She does fine in a crate and appears to be house trained. She is comfortable laying on the floor at your feet or being cuddled next to you on the couch.
Dutchess would love to meet you and become a member of your family! You won't be disappointed!
This dog's adoption fee is $200 (plus tax). This includes being spayed/neutered, current on Rabies (if over 4 months old), Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (if over 7 months old) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if the fee ends in a 5), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.
