This is a very affectionate dog who loves to be around his mom or dad. He is content just to be near you and does not demand much. He also loves long walks and will do anything to go for a car ride. He is great in the car and just settles in. He has a long body with short legs like a basset & a the softest fluffy coat with a curly tail like a papillon -- he is just adorable! He is about 3-4 years old and around 38 lbs. He gets along great with other dogs too. He also knows some basic commands. You can see this dog was loved by somebody but he has fallen out of luck. He is now waiting to give all the love he has to a new lucky family where he can stay for the rest of his life.

This organization is run by volunteers only and we try our best to save as many homeless pets as possible. Since there are only a few volunteers, please understand that we are unable to answer phone calls about the animals. The first step is to fill out an adoption application which you can find on the Pet Rescue website: www.ny-petrescue.org and we will contact you as soon as possible, usually within 5 days. Pet Rescue doesn't have a shelter where you can come and meet the dogs. All showings are by appointment after your application has been approved.
