ABOUT ME

Duncan sure needs a home with someone who will be home during the day. He would make a great companion for soemone. He will give you unconditional love so be ready! He is very attached to his headless stuffed bear so they will come as a "packaged deal!" This great dog was one of 82 seized from a hoarder's home by the City of Mobile Animal Shelter. He was transfered to the Mobile SPCA. He does not have heartworms and was in relatively good health with the exception of his feet and legs. Since he lived in the pee and poop 82 dogs left inside a home for many years his feet were very infected and swollen to twice their normal size. We have cleaned his feet and he is getting a nice foot soak twice a week. A good bath was all that was needed to get his infected legs cleared up. He is a big sweet dog that has learned to walk on a leash and is catching on to crate training with amazing speed. He will make a great pet for a family. He loves to pet petted and hugged. May bully another dog but would cherish a person for his very own.

All of our pets available for adoption have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, tested for heartworms, given age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and are on flea & heartworm preventative medication.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS

To give each dog the best possible home we require a completed Adoption Application. Screening and approval by our Adoption Coordinators and a home visit may be required to make sure this pet fits into your home and the home fits our pet. You MUST be 21 or older to adopt from us.
