Most of our dogs are at the shelter but some are in foster homes. Before being adopted all dogs will spend 2 weeks in quarantine, receive 2 sets of vaccines, be dewormed twice, if over 6 months of age they will be tested for heart worms, and they will be spayed or neutered. The local adoption fee is $100. The out of state adoption fee is $125 which does not include transportation fees.

Hi, I'm Duncan and I am a 11/2 yr old Spanial/Corgi mix. I was rescued from a very bad situation where I wasn't being properly cared for. But the nice people from the shelter came and got me cleaned me up and have spent a lot of time with me and now I'm as good as new. I am ready to find my special new home where I know I will be well taken care of and loved. I am very playful and extremely sweet. I am a little timid at times but give me a few minutes and I will be warming up your lap and giving you kisses. Please come visit me today at the Jackson Humane Society!
