Call the dog shelter at 303.595.4917 and the humans at the front desk can schedule one for you. My name is Dumplin', and I'm a 4 year old sassy Pitbull. I was brought into MaxFund as a stray dog and have been making my mark here at MaxFund ever since! When I first came in, I was really confused and somewhat afraid. Other dogs and people made me uncomfortable. I have been working with pawsome volunteers and staff to become more comfortable with other people. My friends at MaxFund have learned I do need to be the only pet in the household. I need owners that are willing to take it slow with me and will continue to work with anxieties. I do not like when people hover over me or immediately invade my space. I appreciate when people are willing to let me get comfortable with them. I can be sassy when it comes to treats. I love treats and tend to find my way to the treats at the front desk before and after walks. I enjoy being outside, sunbathing, and cuddles. My favorite volunteer can tell you I am a professional cuddle bug. I am a big girl, weighing in around 60lbs, and I don't quite know that I'm that big. I can not go to a home with kiddos. As of right now I also need to be the only animal in the household. Any potential adopters must become temporary volunteers just to volunteer with me.
