Hi, I'm Duke! My mom is a stray dog that gave birth on the lawn of a random house, which is now our foster home. When they noticed us, they decided to fix up a space where we could grow and be safe until we were old enough to find us our forever homes.
My process in the adoption program was a bit delayed because I had ascites, meaning I had fluid build-up in my abdomen. I needed a hemogram, and a 4Dx SNAP test; I also needed treatment after a positive result of Ehrlichia.
I currently live outside in the backyard where I get to play with my siblings, my mom, and our foster peeps that give un lots of pets! I enjoy being around my sibling, I can become quite serious when I'm taken away from them, at least in the time I get used to being with a new person.
