A great family dog of about 1 1/2 years old, and highly intelligent, this German Shepherd mix is a fun-loving extrovert , playful and interested in the life around him. Would benefit from kind obedience training to really polish him up as the ideal dog! Duke would be happiest with someone home all day as he is very affectionate and loves company. However he is crate trained.
He was abandoned along with his sister and another dog by a couple who left their house, furniture, and the dogs behind when they moved out. They had to fend for themselves, until help came and they found their way to Gerdy’s. Now Duke needs his own forever home—and he is SO deserving!! Not a mean bone in his body, he is the ideal dog for kind kids and grandkids. He is handsome and has a regal bearing!
He is neutered, shots including Bordatella, heartworm tested negative, defleaed and dewormed just in case. Friendly with other nice dogs, he would likely get along with cats.
