Duke has found his forever home with Ruth and Tim D. in Arlington, MA
What a sweetheart of a dog! Duke was a beloved pet of an elderly woman who passed away. He has wonderful manners: is housebroken, great in the car and loves people of all sizes and ages. Does fine with other dogs. Our boy is 6-7 years old and would love a home with folks to love him, walk him and take him for car rides! He has been completed vetted including getting a dental for nice shiny teeth! While he is super with everyone, we really don't want him in a family with little children jumping all over him: he is just used to a quieter home than that. His adoption fee is $325
Please complete an
online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
