My Story

Duke is a sweet, sweet boy. He came to us afraid to come into the house, afraid to eat at mealtime, and scared of loud noises. He used to go outside in the back yard and just sit at one of the farthest points and look toward the house. But once inside the house, he was loving and friendly. Now he knows he is welcome to come in and out of the house at will and does so easily. He gets along well with other dogs. He's still a little skittish at mealtime and with some loud noises, but he is getting more comfortable every day. He is quiet, soft, and enjoys following you around all day. Duke is housetrained. He'll make a wonderful pet, but because of his skittishness, we don't recommend him for a home with small children or loud noises.
