Duke is a 2 year old B&T male, cropped and docked and ready to become a loving family member. In fact, Duke gets along with any human or animal he meets. At the shelter before he came to us, Duke was tested with cats, kittens, dogs, ferrets, birds and snakes and got along with every one. In his foster home he has been living with other dogs, males and females. He gets along and plays with the young children and is perfectly happy to lay at the feet of the adults as they work. Duke is small, but will continue to fill out as he is back on a good diet. He arrived at the shelter underfed and very scared. In his foster home he has blossomed into a fine and fun dog. He does not like walking with a lead on his collar, but is comfortable with a harness. Duke is a good boy who regularly shows that he understands why Dobermans are called Velcro dogs.
